It is very vital when we are attending important meetings or when we don't want to wake others up. It can be helpful in many other situations. One great way is for those who cannot hear sound, vibration can help them feel. It is not only those who hear and see that uses phone, but also the deaf and speechless do. This little device in a mobile phone can become bad in several situations. 

When it is bad it can be a disaster to those who cannot do without it.

1. The first step to take when your devise has stop vibrating, is to check your vibration settings. How to do it...
  • Go to Settings on your phone☆
  • Click Sounds and Vibration
  • Review or change the setting. It could be that the settings are low. You can increase the vibration tensity there.
  • Also check System sounds/vibration control


2. When a phone drops the possibility that something could go bad is very high. If a mobile Device stop vibrating after dropping, there is a high chance that the device has developed an internal fault related to the vibrator, connectors or its controls.
In this case check for any abnormality in the vibrator engine area. It could be that after the drop, the flex or the connector was cut or disconnected. Then go ahead to fix it by replacing the vibrotor, make jumper wire if it is a cut flex, or reclipping it if it was a disconnection. 

3. Liquid can damage a mobile phone beyond repair if not attended to on time. 
So when a phone stop vibrating after water damage go ahead to open the phone and check for corrosion, clean the phone with isopropyl alcohol.
Sometimes cleaning alone cannot solve it since the water has damaged more things. In this case you have to use real technician knowledge to find out why the problem persist.

4. Every old man was once a young man. Some vibrator engine can stop working after a long use of your device. In this case use your multimeter to read the vibrator if the reading is not proper then replace it.

5. The IC controlling the vibrator engine can be bad. You can change it.
